Cottilo is a super universal spot where you can kite, surf, windsurf in the waves. Little waves are enjoyable for beginners. It´s a beach break, so it´s pretty fast and technical to kitesurf it, when it gets bigger. Local guys grow up with surfboards on their feet, so there is a lot to watch:)… Bigger locals go strapless. Definitely recommended for all kiters who likes fast waves;) El Cotillo is the perfect spot when blows the north east wind. You can ride a full powered 9m2 kite in El Cotillo, and in Corralejo people sit and wait for a gust with 14m2.
